Returning to regionality and terroir - Kamptal DAC and Niederösterreich
Grüner Veltliner and Riesling play the leading role – and not only in the region. These varieties represent more than 80% of Loimer´s wines (Grüner Veltliner 50%, Riesling 30%). Also, they reflect like no other variety the regionality and identity of the Kamptal. In fact, they are the ones that can carry the designation Kamptal DAC – the Districtus Austriae Controllatus appellation of controlled origin Kamptal.

Still, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir have always been important grapes for us as well. In fact, a Chardonnay - the Langenloiser Chardonnay 1998 – not only took 1st place at a Falstaff wine magazine tasting, but it also was our very first success. All of these varieties play an important role in quality and innovation, and they carry the "Niederösterreich - the great wine land on the Danube" origin on their labels.
Deliciousness, character, freshness and elegance are the strengths of the Kamptal. And finding these marked with our individual signature as well - is our goal.
