LOIMER Langenlois Seeberg Riesling 2018 – 97 points
“Ripe red apple, dried orange peel and sundried hay come together and make for a most resonant, appetizing nose. The palate has a gorgeously creamy, smooth texture, like melting, ripe red-apple flesh, that is outlined by the soaring purity of citrus oil. What a wonderfully concentrated, textured and individual wine. What effortless balance, what smooth, balm-like yet fresh joy.”

LOIMER Langenlois Käferberg Grüner Veltliner 2018 – 96 points
“Notes of chalky earth and wet moss immediately lend resonance and wild freshness on nose. On the palate, several elements come alive. At first a bright, zesty notion of citrus and apple peel freshness, then a beautifully textured mouthfeel that is mouthwatering and juicy, followed by gorgeous Mirabelle fruit and a savory note reminiscent of peppery, salty miso paste. The finish is an aura of clean, almost luminous freshness.”

Wine Enthusiast

94 points for Ried Käferberg Grüner Veltliner 2017

“A very shy nose gives a faint hint of dandelion blossom and butter. The palate continues with this rounded, ripe and smooth theme, bringing out even more butteriness but also a textured counterbalance of pithy concentration that tingles on the tongue with pepper and hay notes. Both citrus and rounded butteriness unite for a lasting, mellow, rich finish.”

95 points for Ried Heiligenstein Riesling 2017

“Yeasty, reductive funk still dominates the nose and lets none of the fruit shine through—but is nonetheless promising. The mellow palate also showcases yeasty notes, but here they are salty and textural, mixed in with an apple and lemon freshness that draws attention to the concentration on the creamy, textured palate. This is a wine that still needs to come out of its shell, but what lies in wait is racy, zesty and interesting.”
